Hi!! I’m Nikita, the founder and designer of this brand.

Creativity has been at the core of my journey — from winning national-level art and painting competitions to handcrafting tiny garments for my dolls. This passion naturally led me to pursue a Master’s in Apparel & Textile Design, where I refined my skills and discovered my true calling in fashion.

From resort wear to bridal couture, I’ve worked with Renowned Designers such like Hemant and Nandita and Mrunalini Rao — creating prints, guiding embroidery with karigars, and experimenting with drapes, cuts, and silhouettes. Each step has been a journey of learning.

Motherhood changed the way I looked at fashion. With all my years of knowledge and experience, I suddenly saw it through a new lens — one that made me realize a huge gap in the industry. Women deserved clothes that were not just stylish, but also effortless, comfortable, and timeless.

That’s when Navata by Nikita was born. Navata means something new — and that’s exactly my vision: to redefine fashion with pieces that celebrate comfort and individuality, while carrying the elegance every woman deserves. Clothes that don’t restrict you, but breathe with you — inside and out.
